Measurement Principle:

The suspended solids/sludge concentration sensor is based on the combined infrared absorption and scattering light method. Infrared light emitted by the light source is scattered by suspended particles in the sample, then converted into an electrical signal by the photodetector, and processed through analog and digital signal processing to obtain the suspended solids/sludge concentration of the sample.
